Minodhamun will support members and First Nation businesses to remove any barriers to participating in the mine and other industries.
Minodhamun Development holds a variety of guaranteed set aside contracts with Greenstone Gold Mines through the Long Term Relationship Agreement that will belong to the First Nations through the construction phase and the life of mine. Minodahmun will manage set aside contracts and all business opportunities related to Greenstone Gold Mines on behalf of the First Nations.

Develop quality and profitable First Nation businesses that support local and regional development initiatives. Utilizing Indigenous entrepreneurs and internal business expertise to form companies that can be operated by First Nation members.
Maximize First Nation participation opportunities in the local economy by building capacity through training, education, employment and mentorship. All companies who wish to conduct business with Minodahmun will need a strong commitment to building real capacity in the First Nations.
There is an intelligent and talented pool of Anishinaabe people who can help to fill local labour shortages and run businesses that will capitalize on the projected growth in the Greenstone Region. With proper training and mentorship we can increase Indigenous representation in the local economy and kickstart the Anishinaabe economy.
Minodahmun has developed a Training & Employment Strategy to assist members in accessing life skills, training, education apprenticeship and work placement programs to help enhance work readiness and remove barriers to employment.
